He had been VP of Digital Media at Schurz Communication, Inc. Claudia McCall joins as VP/eMedia Sales and will direct AgWeb’s online sales, plus oversee online sales strategies for other divi- sions within FJM. She has been with The Washington Post, Newsweek Interactive and AOL. Kay Ross-Baker is the new Nat’l Acc’s Mgr. She was with Putnam Media where she was Publisher of Food Processing magazine and www.foodprocessing.com. Tanner Ehmke is the new Con- tent Mgr. He most recently was a news reporter for Dow Jones at the Chicago Board of Trade and has been a commodities analyst. International Agri-Center an- nounces Penton Media and Western Farm Press will be the publisher of the official World Ag Expo magazine and Show Guide in 2009. Western Farm Press Editor Harry Cline will work with the World Ag Expo staff in developing information about the event in the magazine, show guide and on Penton’s agricul- tural publication websites. The magazine is distributed to farmers and ranchers across the U.S. preceding the opening of the event February 10–12 in Tulare, CA, and is the primary news source for all official Expo details and events. The Center extends for another three years its relationship with Multi Ag Media by designating the company’s Western DairyBusiness magazine the official dairy magazine for World Ag Expo. Jean Eske joins Lessiter Publications as Acc’t Mgr, Inside Sales & E-Media. She will be handling all elec- tronic advertis- ing programs, including Web site advertising, sponsored videocasts and electronic newsletters, as well as managing classified advertising and also adlets in the all-new Farm Equipment Buyer’s Guide Directory & Industry SOURCEBOOK that debuts in September. Multi Ag Media launches ExpoSure ... Your Ag Technology Link , a new publication for 2009 World Ag Expo exhibitors and attendees. The direct response publication offers four color advertising along with a direct response postcard. Additionally, a complete reader response card will be available. A companion Web site, www. agexposure.com, is also being launched. Eric Brown , GM of KRVN, Lexing- ton, NE, is named to the Nebraska Hall of Agriculture Achievement. In 2006, he was inducted into the Nebraska Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. He has been with KRVN since 1979. Under his leadership, the Nebraska Rural Radio Association has purchased KNEB in Scottsbluff in 1984 and KTIC in West Point in 1997. In 2005 he helped originate the Rural Lifestyle Marketing, LLC , a group of radio stations covering 16 markets in the upper Midwest. Recently, he was elected to the board of the National Association of Broadcasting (NAFB) . Bill Stovell joins Farm Journal Media as a Nat’l Accts Mgr for Farm Journal Data- base Strategies . He will be responsible for the company’s database (prod- ucts and ser- vices) sales efforts with a focus on the live- stock industry. Prior, he served as a business development mgr with Micro Beef Technologies and was GM of Hi-Pro Animal Health . Tom Tiedemann joins IFT Publications , publishers of Iowa Farmer Today and Missouri Farmer Today as an Acc’t Exec. Tiedemann has worked for advertising agencies in New York City, Milwaukee and Cedar Rapids, as well as in marketing research. McCoy, 61, veteran ag communicator lost his 30-month battle with cancer last month. He began his career with the Kansas Livestock Association and had several farm broadcast- ing positions including the Texas Agri Business Network , KECO Radio, Southeast AgNet, and VSA Radio Network . He was a NAMA member for 25 years and had served as the Southeast NAMA Chapter President, as a regional director and membership chair. AM Stovell Tiedemann
