Syngenta Seeds, Inc. , names two agencies within The Interpublic Group — Campbell Mithun and Weber Shandwick — to serve as agencies of record for advertising and public relations, respectively, for its corn and soybean business pro- grams. Weber Shandwick’s Minneapolis- St. Paul and Chicago offices and Campbell Mithun, Minneapolis, will work as an integrated team to develop branding and strategic com- munications programs for several of the company’s brands in North America. Campbell Mithun will also develop, execute and place all adver- tising and other marketing commu- nications. Osborn & Barr , announces it will relocate its headquarters offices from Clayton, MO, to downtown St. Louis, MO. It will occupy three floors of the newly renovated Cupples 9 Building which is on the National Historic Register. A date for the move has not been released. The Marketing Den and Heyday Communications , both located in Saskatoon, SK, merge under The Marketing Den name. The newly combined company will continue to focus on high caliber advertising, communications and design. “The new partnership will defi- nitely benefit both companies,” states Barry Gillings , Managing Partner of The Marketing Den. “Heyday’s clients are exclusively in the agricul- ture sector, so the merger gives The Marketing Den more representation and expertise in that market, and The Marketing Den will provide Heyday with the expanded creative, strategic, media and online resources they require to service those clients.” Rhea + Kaiser Marketing Commu- nications promotes Deron Johnson to VP/Public Relations Dir.
