National Agri-Marketing Association 11020 King Street, Suite 205 Overland Park, KS 66210 E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org Web Site: www.nama.org This message finds me in a new position at NAMA. I am both grateful and excited to be named the new Executive Vice President, CEO for the organization. Grateful because there isn't a better group of people to work with than the NAMA membership. Excited because there has never been a better time to be a part of this organization. In 2007, NAMA celebrates its 50th anniversary. Quite a landmark when you look at all we've accomplished. In my opinion, the organization is built on a strong foundation that will be vital as we look to the future. A few members have asked me "What does the future hold?" Under my tenure I will continue to work with the leadership to chart the course of the organization. NAMA is fortunate to have a group of very dedicated leaders and members. I will continue to execute the plans that they are making. In addition, the NAMA staff will strive to provide support to the chapters, to grow their membership and provide relevant programming. My career in agri-marketing started on the agency side and since coming to NAMA 16 years ago my goal has always been to treat the members as clients. That will continue to be the goal of the NAMA staff as we look forward to the next 50 years. As always, we are open to feedback not only from members but from non-members as well. Feel free to send your comments and suggestions to email@example.com. WHAT LIES AHEAD Above: Jennifer Pickett, NAMA Executive Vice President, CEO. 484 AgriMarketing October 2007
