Just like a Doctor of VeterinaryMedicine knows all aspects of animal care, including nutrition, disease control and prevention, genetics, reproduction and facilities, the Plant Doctor knows all aspects of diagnostic plant care, including genetics, traits, pest and diseasemanagement, water use, fertility, soils and other agronomic practices. Twenty Years Ago (1990) • BASF moves its crop protection unit from Parsippany, NJ, to Research Triangle Park, NC. • The Independent Professional Seedsman’s Associaiton is formed.
