The event is designed to bring together some of the nation’s top thinkers to discuss agricultural science and solutions for cultivating a new generation of ag innovation in the field. Speakers include: Everitt von Pentz Deere & Company announces a major reorganization which combines its Agricultural Equipment Division and its Commercial & Consumer Equipment Divisions into a single unit called theWorldwide Agriculture and Turf Division. The unit will have two Presidents: David C. Everitt, responsible for the tractor product and the turf and utility product platforms, andMarkwart von Pentz, responsible for crop harvesting, hay and forage, and crop care product platforms. In addition, Everitt will have responsibility for sales and marketing in the regions that include the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China, Asia, India, and a portion of Africa. Von Pentz will have responsibility for sales and marketing for the rest of the globe. The Foundation has provided 4-H with more than $2.1 million in funding for SET programming since 2006.
