Agrimarketing : March 2009
Passion and commitment drive success. The future of the agriculture and food industry relies on the passion, commitment and talent of young men and women. Agriculture Future of America (AFA) is a catalyst inthe preparation of the next generation of agricultural leaders. AFA is nationally recognized for its excellence in leader training and career development for college men and women and young professionals in the agriculture and food industry. Since 1996, AFA has provided leader and career development training, intern opportunities and scholarship awards to over 4,500 students and young professionals from more than 70 different colleges and universities totaling over $10 million. “AFA was a way for me to expand and diversify my leadership skills from high school and take my skills to the next level. As a young person in agriculture it is not only my desire, but my duty to be involved in organizations and groups that are going to help the future of our industry, and I think AFA does just that.” Erica Coble AFA graduate AFA appreciates the hundreds of individuals and organizations who invest in AFA programs. www.agfuture.org
