We held a conference with our client to begin the process and completion of a ‘strategic brief’ as one of the initial steps in the process. This document asks a lot of questions of farmer Internet usage—demographics, operation size, crops, how farmers use the Internet as part of their planning and production process, etc. “Last week our agency received the new NAFB Wave Research package with Executive Summary and results of the entire study on disk. Just prior to our conference, we were able to access a lot of very relevant Internet usage data that was extremely helpful to our discussion, and toward completing the Web-site strategic brief. I think our client was impressed that we had that data in such a credible form and format, and so readily available.
