MEDIA NEWS The site for Husker Harvest Days, located near Grand Island, NE, receives major upgrades for its water drainage system. Improvements include re-grading of the visitor parking lot areas and installing new drainage and retention ditches to control surface water over the entire event area. Construction is scheduled to be completed well before the 2015 show, Sept. 15-17. Erin Baayen joins the American Farriers Journal and International Hoof-Care Summit as Sr Acc’t Exec. She had been with Champagne Horseshoe Co. and has been with Empire Farrier Supply. Baayen Lisa Kirschner joins WATT Global Media as Sr Web Editor. She had been with Flair Interactive Services Inc. Wade Critser joins the media sales staff of DTN/The Progressive Farmer. He was formerly an Agribusiness Territory Sales Rep with DTN/The Progressive Farmer and has awarded the company’s annual Presidential Salesperson award over the past five years. Prior, he worked for CH Robinson. Critser DTN/The Progressive Farmer launches DTN Connect, a new enterprise management platform. DTN Connect can be accessed on a computer or iPad app to sync multiple disparate data points of a given customer, giving agribusinesses easy access to customer information. GROWMARK rolled out DTN Connect to its FS cooperatives in 2013.
