Chris Cuddy, Pres of ADM’s Corn Processing business unit, is AGRI-MARKETER CONFIDENCE INDEX REBOUNDS The overall Agri-Marketers’ Confidence Index (AMCI) scored a 63, a decidedly higher level since it was last measured heading into last year’s harvest when the AMCI scored a 52. A score of 100 is the highest, 0 is the lowest. The poll of 81 corporate agribusiness managers, conducted by the American Business Media’s AgriMedia Council and Agri Marketing magazine, also shows that 33% of respondents reported their organizations are planning to increase marketing communications budgets, 16% plan to decrease them, with the balance leaving them at the same level. This also is a decided reversal from before last year’s harvest when more than twice as many (44%) planned to decrease budgets vs. increase them (17%). AM named a Sr. VP of the company. Morgan. AM Bayer CropScience unveils the “Leave a Better World” sculpture at the National Agricultural Center & Hall of Fame’s 50th Anniversary grand reopening. Artists Amandine Drouet, Dena Light Peake, Ruth Standford and Mike Wsol, volunteered their time to create and install the sculpture, made entirely from recycled materials. AM
