MARKETING NEWS AgJunction, a leader in providing precision farming solutions, acquires Novariant, a leading provider of auto steering equipment, through a merger transaction in which AgJunction will issue common shares to Novariant shareholders. Dave Vaughn, CEO of Novariant, is appointed CEO of the combined company, with current AgJunction CEO Rick Heiniger serving as Sr Advisor to the CEO. Wes Dittmer continues to serve as the combined company’s CFO. Roskam graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, IL, in 1951. He served as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was in sales with several companies before joining the Oil-Dri Corporation of America where he worked for 45 years, retiring in 2014 as VP/Sls. He was active in the Mid America CropLife Assn. Roskam founded Educational Assistance Ltd., a nonprofit scholarship program that enabled 10,000 students to attend college. In 1988, he and his wife Martha received the President’s Volunteer Action Award fromPresident Reagan. His son Peter Roskamis in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Illinois’ 6th District since 2007.
